Anchor Bay  
 
 

Description: This bay was made famous by the building of the timber village called Sweet haven, which was the film set for the production of the film Popeye with Robin Williams. The name Anchor Bay came from the anchor which was used as a mooring buoy for the barges carrying materials to construct the film set.

First time we turn left and swim near the wall, see the entrance to the beautiful cave, made up of 3 rooms. If we turn right we will find the very large anchor. Eventually, we will pass an area of small rocks. All dive we can see gilthead local fish.

Maximum depth: 17m
Conditions: Divers come here, when there are strong north to north east winds.
Type: Shore Dive.
Minimum diver ability: Novice, Advanced.
