Rules for Divers For the safety of divers, conserving ecological balance and protection of archaeological findings the Maltese Government wrote special rules of control of diving, similar to diving rules all around the world.
Any person wanting to go diving on the territory of the Maltese islands, even the persons learning in dive-schools with a qualified diving instructor, must be physically approved for diving. What the medical card must hold, which you will get at our first meeting, with all the packet of documents, which must be filled and signed before going on to the diving site.
Underwater Hunting Without the license, underwater hunting on the territory of the Maltese islands is forbidden. For violating with the law, the violator will get a fine and maybe a confiscation of equipment.
Underwater Treasure About any archaeological or historical findings, the diver must report to the official faces of his/her dive-school. One is not allowed to bring these findings to the surface by his/her self, they must be left there, where they were found.
